Miss Marrillia is a native Floridian. She graduated from Dixie M. Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. She then went to St. Petersburg College where she earned her Associates in Arts Degree before transferring to University of South Florida. Miss Marrillia earned her BA in English Literature in 2004. Prior to beginning her teaching career and joining the NDHS staff last January, Miss Marrillia worked in various fields, including journalism and working as a paralegal.
Miss Marrillia currently teaches Career Research and Decision Making, Journalism, and Debate. She is the faculty sponsor of the Yearbook, newspaper and Debate Team. Miss Marrillia is looking forward to inspiring her students in both the art of the written and spoken word.
