Advanced Placement Program (AP)

Students interested in potential college course credit can enroll in several of the AP courses available *:
– English Literature
– Human Geography
– Statistics
– American History
– World History
– Spanish
– US Government and Politics
– English Composition
– Environmental Science
– European History

Students must meet prerequisites to enroll.  Students who score 3 or higher on the  AP exam are eligible to receive college credit from colleges and universities.  Most colleges accept AP credit, but the student should check the policy of the college choice.

Advanced Placement(AP) Tests

Advanced placement tests are given at the completion of an advanced placement course. (See curriculum guide for complete listing of courses)  The exams are administered in May and the results are available on-line, mailed to high school, and mailed to specified colleges.  Most colleges accept AP credit, but the student should check the policy of the college choice.
